The Mara at its best — the wide plains and great migration.
The Masai Mara at its best — the wide plains, the great migration when in season, and some of the densest big-cat populations on the continent. From July to October the wildebeest arrive in their millions, crossing the Mara River in one of the most extraordinary wildlife events on earth.\n\nOutside the migration season the Mara remains exceptional, with resident lion prides, cheetah on the plains, leopard in the riverine forest and elephant herds across the reserve. Stays are in tented camps and lodges chosen for location, comfort and quiet.
